A WORD ON THE ABILITY TO NURTURE AND MAINTAIN AN OPEN MIND

The American population has been so dumbed down and brainwashed by television, censorship, the media etc, for so long that at this point they can only process the truth within the small margins of what they are told. They no longer have the ability to actually process multiple perspectives and interpretations of the reality going on around them because their minds have been trained in the brainwashing of sports, TV, the pursuit of self interest in consumerism and propaganda from the entities that have been milking them of the fruits of their labor for the past 40 years or so.

As such, they become panicked and aggressive when they are exposed to  ideas or interpretations of reality that go beyond what they have decided is true.

Of course there are those members of society that always saw that things are not what they appear to be and that the nature of man’s communications and actions with others is and always has been fraught with bias and corruption. These members of society are able to consider a wider range of possible and variable causes of a presented truth before they gain any confidence that what they know is indeed the truth.

Now, of course there are those members of society that rebel against the party lines, whether those lines be family, social or political but their identification with their own opposition clouds their perceptions of the truth.

So on one hand there are those who find the shortest route to arrive at what they believe. That route has to do with entertainment, an “us and them” national identity and greed (with it’s younger brother  of envy and jealousy) being the basic framework of their position on truth. Then there are those who feel, for whatever reason, they have been left out and have an increased sensitivity to lies and corruption not in themselves but in others. This group generally settles on opposition to the party line as a defined truth.

Then there are those who do not ever assume that they know the exact truth. This is because they have seen, like those in the “oppositional” group, that things are not what they seem and, in fact, are many times the opposite of what they seem or what the majority of the population have decided to believe. They do not ever assume they have the truth by simply opposing the party line or the popular belief. They understand that they have to constantly be present to the variable evidence of the truth regardless of their own bias and personal belief inclinations. They are dynamic in their processing of new information because they know that the absolute truth of any phenomenon in this life is solely relegated to God. They are aware that God is constantly revealing information relating to his salvation plan in this day of judgment that requires the believer to be alert to the truth movement in each of their individual personal relationships with God.

This group has some degree or form or stage of a spiritual orientation to reality. They know that this life is not the real reality, but, instead, a picture of the reality which is not carnal, or physical, but spiritual and therefore, unseen. They see this life and world as a continual struggle they are engaged in initiated and controlled by the God of creation to draw those men and women He created in His image and that he has elected, into a not equal, but mutual  relationship with Him in the spiritual realm (the Kingdom of God). This last group was scattered all over the world at the end of the church age, during the great tribulation (1988-2011).

Believers after May 21, 2011 became separate from the local (seen) churches which had originally been established by God through the original 12 prophets, to spread the Gospel of Salvation to the world. As these local churches grew throughout the 1955 years of the church age, they became insulated communities (denominations) bound together by their own man-made  use of scripture to arrive at doctrines that were established based on agreement between each other (between men) in order to give each other the kind of emotional support that strengthens  the self- confidence of  men and women  in communities. The result was a false “spiritual” replication of the “us and them” distortion of the Gospel of Salvation in Christ that was/is more reflective of the kind of “spiritual” support men and women give each other in the unbelieving world.  Since this false focus of “us and them” orientation so replicated the unbelieving world’s doctrines of overcoming of other men as ways to make themselves more worthy (to save themselves) the churches became more world friendly.

Believers (those outside or who have come out of the local churches and congregations) are called upon by God to “feed the sheep”, that is to share with others what God is continually sharing with them. This sharing is not dictatorial or framed in absolute interpretations of God’s Word. It is simply the sharing of the fruit of God’s Word in the current days  in a believers witness of the Gospel of Christ,  of what God is showing them, moment to moment, day by day, through His Word.

The difference between evangelization during the church age and the “feeding of the sheep” in this day of judgment is that the content of evangelizing came out of the agreed upon doctrines of the churches whereas witnessing by believers in this, God’s  day of judgment simply has to do with information gleaned and harmonized by God’s indwelling Holy Spirit through each individual believer’s progressive personal relationship with God in His Word during this day of judgment.

The believer, therefore, is not as bound by denominationally “branded” doctrines.

Of course there is still individual and personal bias in a believer’s witness and this is why God’s Judgment as much applies to the pride and flesh of the believer as His Judgment does to the unbelieving world.

Having an open mind in the processing of the sin and corruption being revealed at this time requires that believers use their occupation of the world, at this time, in a way to discern how God’s indwelling spirit harmonizes the  revelation of God’s judgment of the world with the spiritual growth of each believer. So the believer has to use every revelation God gives in his revealing of both  the world’s and the believer’s  sin as a consideration of truth without the constraints of “group think.” In other words, a believer knows that there is a balance between the processing of their own personal sin, and the processing of the progressively revealed sin of the world that is involved in Gods revelation of that truth to both that believer as well as to those “sheep” (other believers) who that believer is witnessing the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to.

This discernment of information and how it relates to God’s judgment is not so the believer can discern  or identify the exact truth of any situation, though the truth of the situation is the object of God’s call to the believer, but instead, to be a witness to a believer’s engagement with God, who is Truth.

This requires an open mind that is sensitive to perspectives outside of the bias represented by the sin of the world and the flesh and is practice, for the believer, in being obedient to God’s will rather than the believers own will. An open mind might be simply defined as the ability to process information that one is not used to or has not been familiar with even if it risks shaking a part of a person’s rigid self-confidence in their belief on certain perceptions and ideas. The idea of “suspending one’s disbelief” is the action the believer uses for themselves in order to give themselves time for God to give them discernment of the truth as revealed in that believer’s intimate relationship with God in His Word, the Bible.

So this study is only for the purpose of stimulating the unique thought process of each reader rather than any attempt to convince anyone of the veracity of this or that particular idea.

THE TOWER OF BABEL AND THE SCATTERING OF MAN

“And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech…..”

The actions of the will of man going on in the world today seems like a judgment day version of the Tower of Babel.

The present world situation seems to be showing that a viral pandemic, which seems to be the outcome of man’s meddling in genetically modifying life threatening viruses, is being used to set the stage for a one world government through the control of the populations of the world under an elite “government” with this elite  using  it’s wealth to place itself in the seat of God to control individuals though surveillance and enforce laws that will keep these elites (who possess 99% of the worlds wealth) safe.

I have been struck by the relationship between man’s attempt to overcome God through the building of the Tower of Babel and the coming control by a small number of wealthy elites to establish  one government of the people of the world. The parallels seem striking to me so I’ll start.

Again I will remind the reader that these thoughts and ideas are only for the purpose of meditating on the issues with an open mind. I think the reader will find that he suspension of one’s disbelieve about certain ideas presented in this post will be necessary in order to give a person’s “reactive machine” to spend itself before thoughtful consideration of ideas beyond one’s familiarity can be made.

The establishment of the new technological age over the last 100 years seems to have coincided with new kinds of illnesses related to the disintegration of the bodies ability to fight disease. This development seems to come through toxic substances created by man’s industry through the foods we eat, the air we breath, the water we drink and the permeation of the atmosphere by progressively stronger electromagnetic waves. The connecting themes of this technological “progress” seems to recently be  indicated as the progressive redistribution of wealth from the general mass of working people into the possession of the wealthy, which has been going on especially through the last 40 years. The use of pandemics, and the fear generated by these elite in their control of the political and informational systems (the media) seems to be serving both the covering up of an economic system that has been bankrupted by corruption as well as the covering up of the rolling out of the newest technological system (5G) as a way to corral and control the mass populations of the world through the establishment of a one world government.

The one language that the One World Government is seeking is total, engineered control of the world’s population in its thinking, beliefs and behaviors; as such a “man determined moral language” that is enforced by men over men, thus taking the control out of the hands of God and placing it in the hands of men. It is no surprise that the atheistic country of China is the most advanced developer of this kind of surveillance and control.

“………………..And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.....”

Brick is a man made counterfeit for the stone (Christ) which is the true foundation for a man or woman in the kingdom of heaven. Although slime and mortar have been used interchangeably in scripture, slime can also be thought of as “untempered  morter” which, in a spiritual sense, represents man’s truth unconditioned (strengthened) by God’s Word;

“Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:”  Ezekiel 13:10

“...And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth…………………………..”

(Instead of God making a name for those He has chosen;)

“Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.”  Revelation 2:16-17

The “white stone” is connected to the salvation of a man/woman and the new name represents God’s giving of a new soul to those he has elected to be saved; those who have become “born again”.

Not just those with money and power but the whole unbelieving human race that honors the wealthy and powerful in their the love of money (and the power it gives over other men) are being judged at this time for their attempts to overcome God’s spiritual design of them to be dependent on Him;

“ And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”    Genesis 3:4-6

The love of money, which God’s Word tells us is the root of all evil, is the serpent of the love of money that has led unbelieving mankind to allow themselves to be subjected the brainwashing and dumbing down of their perceptions of the truth by those who are in control of the technology and government officials needed to build the current One World Government (Tower of Babel.)

“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”   1 Timothy 6:10

“And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech………..”

In my listening to the news events that are being presented in this time of world crisis it occurs to me, as it seems to me it must occur to  others of any philosophical and religious walk of life that it is not possible to discern the truth from reports out  the mouths of politicians and the media on both or all sides of the political spectrum. The different language that God seems to be using to scatter the people of the earth is what in the past few years, (instead of the different literal languages that God imposed on the world in the destruction of the Tower of Babel) seems to be God’s giving men and women up to use their distorted perceptions of the truth to decieve men in their power struggles against each other.

Many followers of public events have determined that in this time there has emerged a very clear impression that it is the “end of the truth” in public discourse.

“For I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word.”

“Do they provoke me to anger? saith the Lord: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces? Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.”  Jeremiah 7:19

God has used those who are not saved or chosen, since the beginning, to leash his fury on those who do not believe but, instead, are pretenders.

In the old testament it was God’s chosen people who turned away from God in their worldly actions to have dominion over other men. The church age (33AD-1988AD) was the second timeframe for the pretenders in the local churches to align themselves with the world in the “times of the Gentiles”

“Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.”    Psalm 109:29

God created man in His image and so man’s genuine identity has to be “with God” and in God. When men “cover themselves with their own confusion”  or “oppose themselves” (2 Tim. 2:25) it is because they have rebelled against the architect of their own soul.

“But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.”   James 3:14-16

God is indicating in the James passage that all wisdom that is “earthly”, ie., that is man’s wisdom, is devilish. This idea is a total offense to the best intentioned unbeliever.

It is tempting to believe, because of the powerful impact of the actions being taken against the people of the world to control them by a “few” wealthy and powerful men and organizations, that man will succeed in establishing his own utopia with man’s judgement, instead of God’s Judgment in place. This is part of the delusion that the spirit of the natural, unbelieving man has been given over to by God.

Scripture refers to the number of the spirit of man (the “natural man” and the spirit of satan being the same (666);

“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”   Revelation 13:18

This has to be understood as man in the carnal or material world, which includes all that is visible, but also all the aspects of man’s machine; his logic and the relative truth of his senses.

And though the trajectory of this world manipulation of unbelieving men and women and those who have believed their propaganda appears, at times, to be very compelling and have a great deal of chance to succeed and indeed, may look like it will succeed, in the end, God has the last Word and this, His day of Judgment firstly  strengthens  the confidence of unbelieving man’s delusion;……

It may be helpful to mention that when Jesus died on the cross he was completely alone. Who “in the world” would have not believed at that time, that Satan had won!

“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”   2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

God has lots of different ways of caring for and sustaining both believers and unbelievers. However it is important to remind the reader that there are only two universal powers that man can be possessed by since man cannot possess himself. And when God hardens the heart he placed that person who’s heart He has hardened in the spiritual possession of Satan. Likewise God’s elect have been placed by God in the “mind of God”. This is hard for man to understand. Through the action of salvation (God’s giving new spiritual birth to a man/ woman) that man or woman are not God themselves, yet  they have the mind of Christ…..the mind of God”;

“For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the minde of Christ.” 1 Cor. 2:16

……and now God is revealing the sin of the consequences of this illusory confidence to the world as part of His judgment. To the natural man, success in their power over other men is their Glory. This same “success” is revealed by God, as a manifestation of the sin of natural man, that is a man or men (collective humanity) that are spiritually dead without God’

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”  1 Corinthians 2:14

Thoughout history, the rise and fall of “man” in the sense of the rise and fall of nations, according to an exhaustive study of history by Arnold Toynbee showed that there are two reasons for the destruction of a nation. The first is that after they establish their relationship with the other nations around them to enable their people to be safe and prosperous, they start to overextend themselves regarding their commitments to prosperity outside of their nation, thereby undermining and weakening the business of their own nation. This is also a carnal “picture” of spiritual falseness in a man;

“Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:”  Habakkuk 2:4-5

 The second reason is their weakening of the principles and values that were the foundations of establishing the nation in the first place. When finally other peoples or nations overcame them in war, these other nations were successful because of the deterioration of the cultures, values and infrastructure of the once powerful nation. A picture of man’s rebelling, though sin, of His law at the outset of salvation history is pictured in the carnal world today as the progressive ideological destruction of the Constitution of the most powerful country in the world, the United States. This has happened thousands of times throughout history with slightly different versions of exactly the same process with the only difference now, it seems to this writer, being that there is no place or time left in the earth for man to hide his sin from God.

The difference these days is there is no more geography. The control of people’s labor, the reduction of the population and the control of the land or environment for the victors is the only new territory for those who have been successful to conquer. No longer are the victories over land or creating new nations. The victors are not countries with developed cultures where there can be established constitutional values for the good of the people.

The current victors are those of the fabulously wealthy, who have sold their souls (morals, values) long ago, who are now spiritually dead and who’s only cultural values are related to their abilities to subjugate other peoples under their power.

Though this is a different manifestation of what was seen in the rise and fall of nations in the past, the dynamics of the process is exactly the same.

So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.”            Genesis 11:1-9
